M&M Cookies #SugarNomsTV

These cookies are wonderful for giving out as gifts.  I donated these cookies to Long Beach Cancer League for the Miller’s Children Hospital for families with children who are suffering with cancer. The dough can be frozen and thawed out for 10-15 minutes before baking.

Makes about 2 Dozen Cookies

Ingredients:

1 Cup Unsalted Butter (at Room Temperature)

3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar

3/4 Cup Brown Sugar

2 Eggs

1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

2 1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour

1 Tsp Baking Soda

1 Tsp Salt

2 Cups Milk Chocolate M&Ms

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, combine Dry Ingredients (the Flour, Baking Soda, and Salt). In a large bowl of an electric mixer or whisk, cream Butter and both Sugars. Beat in Egg and Vanilla. Reduce the speed to low and add in flour mixture in 2 editions. DO NOT OVER MIX. Fold in M&Ms with a rubber spatula or wooden spoon. Using a small cookie or Ice Cream scoop (or 2 Tablespoons), scoop dough onto an un-greased cookie sheet. Bake for about 9-11 minutes or until golden brown on the edges. Let cookies cool for 1 minute on the sheet and then transfer onto a wire rack to cool completely.
