Zov’s Bistro in Tustin
I’m so excited! I entered Chef Zov’s Kids Chef Search Contest and made the Top 6! I attended an event with the finalists today at Zov’s Bistro in Tustin where we had a private cooking session with Chef Zov Karamardian! We learned how to prepare a breakfast dish for our parents. We made Scrambled Eggs, Shredded Potatoes, and we learned how to cut Fruit and Veggies. Chef Zov also taught us many helpful tips such as swirling the pan as the Eggs cook to prevent from burning. When we were done cooking, we served our meal to our parents.

We sat with our parents and watched all the videos that the kids submitted. I was a little nervous. Judges from Great Taste Magazine, OC Metro, Coast Magazine and OC Register watched the video and took notes. I couldn’t wait for the results! Here’s the video that I submitted… I made a Strawberry Lemonade Meringue Pie.
And the winner is… OMG Chef Zov read my name! Yay! I won a $1,000 savings bond. I can use it for college!
